Inland Northwest Homeschool Conference
March 28-29, 2008

After six months of planning lessons, teaching, correcting, balancing, and shuttling kids to and fro, what could be better than a weekend of re-fueling, refreshment and inspiration to supply you for the final months of the 2007-2008 academic year? The Inland Northwest Homeschool Conference is perfectly designed to do just that! There will be top-notch speakers, workshops, a used curriculum sale, book sellers, and opportunities for you to meet other homeschoolers and be mutually encouraged.

It’s affordable! The registration fee is only $10! This is a bargain compared to other workshops and conferences that charge $40 and more. At this conference, you can attend more than a half dozen sessions and a used curriculum sale. You can’t afford not to attend!

It’s top quality! Reb and Bev Bradley are nationally recognized speakers. You will have the opportunity to hear Reb in four general sessions and in two men’s workshops. Bev will share in three workshops. Other workshop presenters are top quality as well, including Scott and DiAnna Brannan, Adam Andrews, Suzanne Brooks, Nicole Neale, and Teresa Roth.

It’s convenient! Located just a few short blocks off I-90, Valley Assembly of God provides an excellent meeting facility with hotels nearby for those traveling a distance. We have arranged for discounted rates at the hotels listed below. Call before February 29 to guarantee a room and mention that you are with the Inland Northwest Homeschool Conference to receive the discount.

• Oxford Suites – 847-1000 (Single king/$99; two queens/$109. Full breakfast buffet.)

• Residence Inn – 892-9300 (1 bedroom queen suite with a fold-out couch is $109. Full breakfast buffet.)

• Comfort Inn – 924-3838 (Single queen/$69.99; two queens/$79.99; apartment suite/$89.99 with two bedrooms, 2 full beds, pull-out couch, complete kitchen and living room. Full breakfast buffet.)

We are soliciting ideas on how to make the conference fun and special. Send us your ideas and we’ll share them! Here is what has been proposed so far:

Get someone to stay with the kids and make this a getaway with your spouse.

Come with another couple and make it a "couple’s getaway." Go out for dinner together, pair up for workshops, or go separate ways and compare notes. Shop with the girls while the guys watch the sports channel at the hotel!

Make it a "girls’ retreat" weekend. Share the expense of the hotel with one or more girlfriends. Inspire one another! Leave the kids with Dad and come home full of enthusiasm, insight, and ideas for your homeschooling journey.

Registration information, used curriculum sale information, workshop descriptions and schedules can be viewed at www.valleyhomescholars.org. We will post information on the site as it becomes available. Mark your calendars now for March 28–29, 2008.
