These classes will teach the wonder of God's creation using Apologia's Exploring Creation through Zoology: Swimming Creatures of the 5th Day. Parents will need to purchase the textbook (one per family should suffice to keep things cost effective). The best price is through Christian Book Distributors, www.christianbook.com. Make sure you get the Swimming Creatures book, NOT the Flying Creatures.

 

In class, we will be doing experiments and creating lapbooks to supplement the textbook. ALL reading is to be completed at home, with parents or on their own, if they are older. The in-class work will review and reinforce the prior week's reading assignment. We will be doing an in-depth study of the many kinds of life in the sea (not only swimming ones), such as: whales, seals, reptiles, fish, sharks, crustaceans, mollusks, cephalopods, and echinoderms.  This is going to be a fun class, but does require homework.
