Inland Northwest Christian Homeschoolers (INCH) is a Christian co-op and support group, serving homeschoolers in Coeur d'Alene and surrounding areas. INCH is not a drop-off program or a school, but a co-op run solely by volunteer moms and dads. We offer homeschool students, from preschool through high school, an assortment of academic and enrichment classes and social activities to supplement their homeschooling experience, as well as occasional workshops to encourage and support homeschooling parents. Field trips, service projects, events, and parties are scheduled throughout the year. All of our classes are taught by volunteer moms and dads, and we rely on God's guidance for all of our activities.

INCH offers two levels of membership: limited and full. We accept applications for Limited Membership year-round, but you should check our home page to see if we are currently accepting applications for Full Membership. Even if we're not, becoming a Limited Member will give you first dibs, once openings become available.

All paid members receive our weekly newsletter via e-mail, as well as gain access to our online database, which contains a member directory, official class schedules, and a host of other features and useful info. In addition, Full Members may use the site to register for classes.

Because of the great level of interaction with children and our strong Biblical worldview, the INCH Board prayerfully reviews each application and reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone.

First and foremost, all applicants must profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

They must read the INCH Statement of Faith and promise to uphold it in its entirety, during all INCH activities.

We acknowledge and understand that we will never agree on everything, but INCH members must strive to present a consistent worldview to the students, in order to avoid confusion and conflict.

Members should also study the Member Handbook, which contains responsibilities and rules of conduct for parents and students.

Failure to abide by Jesus' commandment to "love thy neighbor", the Statement of Faith, or the Member Handbook, may result in disciplinary action or expulsion from INCH.

Please download, print, and complete the membership application, and return it to the address listed on the last page.

If the PDF links do not work, you will need to download a PDF reader, such as Adobe's Acrobat Reader.

Full Membership costs $65 per family for each 8-week session and enables parents and enrolled children to participate in our co-op classes. The school year spans from September through May and consists of three 8-week sessions (or trimesters). We meet Mondays, from 10:00am to 1:45pm, at a non-denominational, Christian church in the Coeur d'Alene area. We take about two months off for Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as two or three weeks for Spring Break.

Classes are taught by volunteer parents, which means that we rely on our members to prayerfully offer to teach at least two classes per school year. Class topics are generally up to the individual, and INCH also has a wide variety of ready-to-use curricula. This is not a chore, but rather an opportunity to share our God-given talents with the next generation.

If you have any questions, please contact us at Coordinator@INCHHome.com.

If you would like to participate in INCH field trips and events, but don't have time for co-op classes, then a Limited Membership may be perfect for your family!

Limited members pay $25 per family for an entire school year. You will receive our weekly e-mail newsletter, which contains information about upcoming field trips and events. You will then be able to sign-up and come along with us on our outings and participate in other events throughout the year, such as our annual Christmas and Year-End Parties.

Limited Members who wish to become Full Members have priority over new applicants, whenever openings become available.
